The Pandora SE occurrence is located on a north-facing slope overlooking Juene Creek, at an elevation of approximately 300 metres.

The area is underlain by basalts, andesites, dacites and rhyodacites of the Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group which have been intruded by granodiorites of the Lower to Middle Jurassic Victoria Lake Pluton.

Locally, veins in argillic altered fault gauge host base metal and silver values. No further information was provided.

In 2013, a grab sample (1415905) assayed 4.2 grams per tonne silver, and greater than 1.0 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 34295).

Work History

In 1969, Alice Lake Mines completed a program of airborne geophysical surveys on the area. In 1971, Darkhawk Mines completed a program of soil sampling on the area as the Sel property. In 1982, BP Minerals completed a program of geological mapping and geochemical sampling on the area as the PA claims. In 1989, Equinox Resources completed a program of geological mapping and geochemical sampling on the area as the Vic property. In 2007, Grande Portage Resources Ltd. completed a program of geochemical (rock, silt and soil) sampling on the area as the Merry Widow and Merry Widow Extension properties. In 2013, M. Schau completed a program of geochemical sampling and a ground magnetic survey on the area as the Pandora property.
